Geoff Parker

Prof Parker is Professor of Healthcare Engineering, Imaging and Enterprise in the UCL Department of Computer Science and is based in the Centre for Medical Image Computing. He has an extensive track record in the development, application, validation and translation of quantitative MRI methods. In addition to his research activities, Prof Parker leads the Medical Imaging Research Software Group (MIRSG), which is an initiative co-hosted between CMIC and UCL’s Research Software Development Group and leads XNAT implementation for UCL. He is Deputy Director for Translation of the UCL Institute of Healthcare Engineering and chairs the IHE Translation and Industry Delivery Group. He founded and runs the successful spin-out imaging company Bioxydyn and recently co-founded Queen Square Analytics, providing imaging and machine learning services for clinical trials.
